Most PCs run on factory defaults: memory at half speed, a GPU in the wrong slot, virtualization switched off. BIOS Advisor reads your hardware and BIOS, tells you exactly what to change and where, and proves the gain.
Read-only by default · every change needs your approval · no serial numbers leave your PC

Board, BIOS, memory per slot, every PCIe card and the lanes behind it, drives, peripherals and security state.
AI explains each finding for your goal (gaming, local AI, creator work, home server) with the exact menu path on your board.
On Dell, HP and Lenovo it changes the setting through the maker's own interface and restarts. Everywhere else it walks you through it.
The next scan confirms the change took, so you know the memory, lanes and features you paid for are actually on.
Two slots can look identical and run very differently. BIOS Advisor reads where every card is actually connected, CPU or chipset, and how many lanes it really gets.
“Your GPU has the best slot: x16 straight from the CPU. A second GPU in PCIEX16_2 splits it to x8/x8; PCIEX16_3 keeps it at x16 but gives the new card x4.”
Pick a goal and BIOS Advisor plans the slots, memory and firmware settings around it. Four example configurations:

Secure Boot, TPM, boot order, wake-on-LAN and power-loss behavior, checked on every Dell, HP and Lenovo machine and set through the makers' official interfaces, with an approval trail.
Define the settings once; see which machines drift and fix them in a batch you approve.
Every scan, plan, approval and result is logged with time and machine.
Allow-listed settings only. No overclocking, no voltages, never turns security off. BitLocker suspended for exactly one restart when needed.

It is read-only until you approve a plan. Automatic changes only happen on Dell, HP and Lenovo through the makers' own settings interfaces, with an allow-list that excludes voltages, overclocking and anything that turns security off. On other boards it guides you and you make the change yourself.
The scan holds hardware details only: no serial numbers, MAC addresses, product keys or user names. By default the AI review runs on a local model. If you choose a cloud AI provider in settings, the scan is sent to that provider for each review.
Any Windows 10/11 PC can be scanned and reviewed. One-click auto-fix works on Dell, HP and Lenovo business machines today; servers over Redfish and a Mac security review are on the roadmap.
It tells you when your BIOS is old and links the exact download page on your board maker's site. Firmware updates stay in your hands, on stable power.
